Beginning in the mid-1980’s, operations at the firm have become more focused on real estate development. Specifically, the company and its partners have recognized the strategic importance of acquiring and investing in large tracts of land and comprehensively master-planning the development of each parcel. This vision has resulted in a large inventory of property ready for development in such markets as Wilmington, Southport, Fayetteville, Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Charleston, SC.
In the greater Wilmington area, the company has actively participated in the sale, development or acquisition of residential communities such as Rivermist, Marsh Oaks, Bayshore, Figure Eight Island, Saybrooke and River Road. In addition, Cameron Management also manages a commercial property portfolio in excess of 500,000 square feet.
