Cameron Management delivers the first building in Wilmington's newest Class A office park (5/19)
One of the area’s largest health care companies, Wilmington Health plans to locate obstetrician / gynecologist, internal medicine, dermatology and radiology services as part of its lease of three quarters, or 45,000 square feet, of the first building in Midtown Park at Barclay. Midtown Park is Cameron Managements newest Class-A office park and its located within The Pointe at Barclay, a large movie theater anchored mixed use development with numerous restaurants, coffee shops, fitness establishments, hair salons, etc. including a planned Home 2 Suites by Hilton.
“We need more space in some of our existing buildings, and this will give us the opportunity to make several internal changes that will allow us to operate more efficiently across all of our buildings,” said Chris Bunch, chief operating officer of Wilmington Health, on Monday.
Cameron Management is pleased to have such a preeminent Wilmington company to anchor its new office park and looks forward to working with other medical specialty practices to fill the balance of building 1. Cameron Management has already leased space on the first floor to a dentist, who is in planning and construction and should open the fall of 2019.
The office park is slated to eventually include four office buildings with three stories each and two three-story parking decks, to be built in four phases, on 9.5 acres. The first building was completed in May of 2019 and the general contractor for the structure is Clancy & Theys Construction Co. The building was designed by BMH Architects. Wilmington Health is currently constructing its tenant improvements and plans to open in September of 2019.
Wilmington Health has been rapidly expanding its footprint in the Wilmington area.
